Amazon Sponsored Discount is now available for shipping labels on Buy Shipping

Amazon has launched Amazon Sponsored Discount for shipping labels purchased through Buy Shipping to support you in providing fast, on-time, and tracked products to customers. These discounts will be available for select reliable and faster ship methods.

When using Buy Shipping on Seller Central, you will see the shipping methods that are discounted with a blue badge that says Amazon Sponsored Discount with a discounted price next to it.

If you’re using Buy Shipping through Shipping Integrators that have Buy Shipping enabled, you will automatically see the discounted price.

If you are using APIs to use Buy Shipping, you have to call the Get Eligible Shipping Services API (GESS) to view the discounted prices.

The discount is given at Amazon’s discretion and might not be available for every shipment.

Create engaging email campaigns with themed templates in ‘Customer Engagement’ (beta) tool

The Customer Engagement tool empowers brand owners registered in Brand Registry to engage with their Amazon followers through email. Brands with 1000 or more followers on Amazon Store will have the best experience when using this tool. However, this tool is accessible to all brands with followers.

You can now create themed email campaigns within the Customer Engagement tool. Multiple holiday banners are available with new templates being launched monthly. With these themed templates, you can suggest gifts for upcoming holidays, New Year resolutions, travel adventures, game day, and other occasions.

Start an email campaign easily in Customer Engagement (beta) tool by choosing the theme that you would like to run from the Select event type drop down menu. Select your themed banner in “Email Settings,” and then set up your campaign the same way you normally would. For step-by-step instructions on setting up an email campaign, go to Manage Your Customer Engagement page. To review your email before submitting your campaign, click the new Preview option next to Start Campaign.

As we write this email today, sellers using Fulfillment by Amazon carry enough inventory, on average, to support 25% more days of sales than our own retail business, and more than 60% of products in our fulfillment centers worldwide are from sellers.
Sellers surpassed $4.8 billion in worldwide sales from Black Friday through Cyber Monday, growing about 60% from last year. Introducing customer reviews on the Amazon Seller app

Fulfillment by Amazon’s next scheduled long-term storage fee inventory cleanup.
On the 15th of each month, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) conducts an inventory cleanup. On these dates, inventory that has been in US fulfillment centers for more than 365 days incurs a long-term storage fee (LTSF) of $6.90 per cubic foot or a $0.15 per-unit long-term storage fee, whichever is greater.
As announced in the 2019 US FBA fee changes summary, Amazon is eliminating long-term storage fees for units that have been in a fulfillment center for 181 to 365 days. The last long-term storage fee charge for inventory in a fulfillment center for 181 to 365 days was January 15, 2019. This change is not retroactive. Any previous 181 to 365 day charges will not be reimbursed.

Outlet deals are Amazon-featured limited-time promotional offers displayed on the Amazon Outlet page. Featuring products via Amazon Outlet can help you boost sales, improve cash flow, optimize inventory levels, and reduce storage fees. You can use the Manage Excess Inventory page to identify products eligible for Amazon Outlet deals and submit deals for approval using the menu to the right of eligible listings.

Subscribe & Save can help FBA sellers boost conversion, drive repeat purchases of everyday essential items, and grow brands. And now if you’re an eligible FBA seller, your products are automatically enrolled in Subscribe & Save!
Effective December 18, 2019*, eligible, replenishable items will begin to be automatically enrolled at a 0% base discount. Amazon will continue to automatically fund a limited-time 5% discount when customers receive five or more items in one delivery. There is no cost to you for automatic enrollment and the Amazon-funded discount. Manual enrollment of products is no longer required.
